The Energy Charging Tree BE Tree* is dedicated to ecological production and storage  of electricity. It is designed to be independent of the centralized electric power network. Given that it is an “off-grid” solution, it can be placed virtually anywhere, wherever it is required. The condition for optimizing the efficiency of electricity generation from solar panels is its correct installation in relation to the supply of solar energy.

Technical solution

The Energy Charging Tree BE Tree is a device for the production, storage and subsequent supply of electricity for use in electric vehicles.

BET consists of 4 parts:

  1. Tree crown (A) - a part for solar power generation:
    • Structure for mounting of solar panels:

      • Material types: aluminum
      • Designed to allow easy handling for servicing and replacing solar panels in case of failure
    • Solar panel:

      • Solar panel is intended for power generation
      • Produced electricity is directly dedicated for charging of electric vehicles
      • Excess electricity is stored in batteries located in base of BET
  2. Tree arms (B) - elements for connection between the base and the solar power generation part:
    • Material types: composite materials with a combination of metal sheeting

    • The leaves are installed on the base with special seals
    • A structure is fixed on leafs, on which solar panels are mounted on. Mounting of the solar panels is secured by special locks, which are designed to withstand adverse weather conditions.
  3. Tree trunk (C) - base:
    • Material types: water-resistant concrete with a metal skeleton.
    • The base serves as a technical space to store the battery and control units.
    • Hermetically sealed technical space provides protection from water and other adverse weather conditions.
    • Batteries Blue Energy stored in technical space serve for storage of electrical energy produced with solar panels placed in the Crown of the tree. Main advantages of these batteries is their safety (they do not contain any toxic or other dangerous substances), non-explosivity, flame resistance and high durability.
    • Control units are designed to manage the production and transmission of electricity and to monitor the characteristics of the whole device.
    • The shape of the base is designed for static storage for different types of ground:

      • Placed on a solid ground in favorable weather conditions - BET can be placed on a hard floor. The feet are located at the bottom of the deck and serve as a detent.
      • With placement on unstable ground in bad weather conditions and in absence of solid flooring to meet the static assessment, anchors are fixed at the bottom of the base. Anchors are designed to ensure optimal stability and safety of the equipment.
      • Placement directly into the ground - base is placed directly in the ground, the base is anchored in the ground and strengthened by anchors to increase the stability of the base.
